I would like to hear your thoughts and opinion upon these 2 daws. ![]() I have not purchased any virtual instruments plugin beside bias fx for amp Sim for guitar.Ĭan't really decide between fl and Cubase, Cubase seem to have better virtual instruments and functions but it seems to be harder to use for making music with midi controller and fl seems to be the opposite, where it excels at midi controls but lacks virtual instruments. I play a variety of styles on guitar and I wanna compose some prog rock/ math rock music (some lofi hip hop as well, I'm pretty into that), and I want to compose the drum part and bass part with my midi controller since I play guitar only. Right now I'm hoping to compose music wtih my midi controller (but reaper is not really the best choice when it comes to midi so I need to invest in a daw, they also don't have any virtual instruments ) I don't have much daw experience, I mainly play guitar and I use reaper to mix and eq my guitar music (I mainly play guitar only pieces eg fingerstyle). I wanna look for a daw with easy to use interface for midi controls / setting tweaking and excellent virtual instruments (primary drums and bass). Both of them have recieve update recently and they are really appealing to me. So I have decided to invest in a daw (it's Christmas time and there a lots of good deals out there), i have looked into many daws and right now I just could not decide between Cubase and fl studio. ![]()
